The rock formations of Hin Ta & Hin Yai, known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, lie 4.8 km away, and the Big Buddha on its hill above Bophut is 8.8 km off. Samui Airport is 6.3 km from the hotel, so the island can be reached by air and the rest of the trip covered by road.

A good day could start with a swim at Chaweng Noi, then continue to the Na Muang Waterfall, further inland, which is a pleasant change from the coast. In the evening, the night market at Lamai is a lively place for dinner and for wandering between the stalls before returning to the hotel. Those who prefer to stay close can rest by the outdoor pool or take a drink at the poolside bar.
