Villa Sophie Bangtao Beach

Villa Sophie Bangtao Beach is a 200 m² home with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, overlooking the garden. Its interior includes a shower, a bathtub, a hair dryer, an electric kettle, toiletries and towels, along with a flat-screen TV that carries satellite and cable channels.

Up to six guests can stay in the home, with a choice of bed set-ups. The villa also has a private pool and a balcony or terrace, and internet access is available.

Bang Thao is a beach area in Phuket, on the Choeng Thale side of the island, where resorts and private villas sit back from a long, sandy shore. The pace here is set by the beach and the local markets rather than by the bars of Patong.

Bang-Tao Night Market is 200 m away and Bang Tao Beach 900 m. Further along the coast lie Pansea Beach and Surin Beach, and Laguna Golf Phuket, one of the golf courses in the Laguna area, is 2.3 km away. Phuket FantaSea, a theme park with an evening cultural show, is also in the area. The island's main airport, Phuket International Airport, is 13.7 km away, and the villa is reached by road.

A day could start on Bang Tao Beach, continue with a round of golf at Laguna and end at the Bang-Tao Night Market, where food stalls fill the lanes. For a different day, the Big Buddha on its hill and the temple of Wat Chalong are among the island's best-known sights, and both can be visited by car. Kata Beach and Karon Beach, both well known, are also on the island and can be reached by road, so a stay here works well for a mix of beach days and outings.
