Villa Melita

Villa Melita is a 230 m² house with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, sleeping up to ten guests. Its sleeping arrangements can be set up in a choice of ways, and the house has its own private pool, a garden or backyard and a balcony or terrace.

The setting works for guests who want a beach nearby without staying in the island's busiest resort area.

Around the villa, the most striking place is the Big Buddha Phuket, a large Buddha statue on a hill 850 m away, with wide views over the island. Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples, is 4.1 km off, and Kata Noi, a quieter beach, is 2.1 km away. Patong Beach, the island's busiest beach resort, is 7.6 km away and has the nightlife of Bangla Road.

A car or scooter is the easiest way to reach the wider island, since the beaches, temples and the Big Buddha are all connected by road. A good day here starts on Kata Beach, continues with the Big Buddha in the afternoon, and ends at the Kata Walking Street Night Market, 1.4 km from the house. Phuket Town is further away and has its own old-town streets of Sino-Portuguese shophouses, which are worth a day of their own.
