Villa Jasmine

Villa Jasmine is rented as a whole holiday home, with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and room for up to six guests. The bedrooms offer a choice of bed set-ups.

Air conditioning and cable TV are provided in some rooms, and linen service is provided too. Hair dryers, toiletries and towels are in the bathrooms of select rooms, and a coffee or tea maker, instant coffee and instant tea are provided in some rooms. The home has its own private entrance.

Parking is free for guests with their own transport, and internet access is available. The kitchen is fitted with a fridge, a freezer, a stove, an oven and a microwave, with dishes and dining utensils, plus kitchen basics such as cookware, oils and condiments.

A crib or baby cot is available, and there is a balcony or terrace, a garden or backyard and ceiling or portable fans. Coffee or tea is available as well, and the home is set up for guests who want to cook and then eat in, with the kitchen basics and dining utensils already in place.

Villa Jasmine is on Soi Nam Jai in southern Phuket, in a part of the island known for its fishing villages and beaches that are less busy than the resort strips further along the coast. For a group that wants a quieter base near the water, the area offers a more relaxed pace. Fresh seafood and fruit markets are part of everyday life here, and the local markets are close to the coast.

Nai Harn Beach is 2.4 km away, a crescent-shaped bay with sand and calm swimming, and Rawai Beach is 1.9 km away, a fishing-village beach with a pier close by. Big Buddha Phuket, the large white statue on a hilltop, is 4.8 km away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the most revered temples on the island, is 6.9 km away.

A day could start with a swim at Nai Harn Beach, continue to Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, and end with seafood in Rawai. Most of the sights are spread across the island, so a car or taxi is the practical way to move around, and Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 36.2 km away. Patong Beach, with its shops and bars, is the lively alternative for an evening out.
