Villa Hayou, Lamai Koh Samui

Air conditioning is provided in every room. The accommodation includes a two-bedroom villa of 250 m² that sleeps up to five guests, with two separate bedrooms, a private entrance and a private bathroom. Its beds can be set up in a choice of ways, and the villa has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven.

Lamai Beach is 450 m from the property, and the beach road has street-food stalls and massage shops, while dive centres are close to the property too. The area suits a relaxed beach stay, with the rest of the island reached by road from here.

Hin Ta and Hin Yai, the rock formations known as Grandfather's Grandmother's Rocks, are 600 m from the villa, and the Lamai Viewpoint is 250 m away. Further round the island, Big Buddha, the large seated statue, and Wat Plai Laem, known for its large Guanyin statue, are both popular stops on a day out. Samui Airport (USM) is 10.6 km from the property, and the trip from there is by road.

A good day can start on Lamai Beach, continue to the rocks and the viewpoint, and end at the Lamai Night Market, 1.8 km away, which sells local food and goods. Dive centres are nearby for anyone who wants to go under the surface, and the rest of the island is easy to explore by road for a second day.
