Villa Chang Thai

The whole property is a single house with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, set up for up to six guests. The house has air conditioning and heating, linens, towels, toiletries and a hair dryer, along with a TV with satellite and cable channels and a coffee or tea maker.

Guests have their own private entrance to the house, and the property also includes a private pool, a garden or backyard and a balcony or terrace. The kitchen has a full set of cooking appliances.

Villa Chang Thai is in the Nai Harn area of Phuket, and several of the island's best-known beaches and temples lie within a few kilometres of the home. Nai Harn Beach is 2 km away, and Kata Beach, a popular stretch of sand with cafés along its road, is 2.5 km away.

The Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hilltop 3.6 km away, is one of the island's best-known landmarks, and the hilltop gives views across the island. Chaithararam Temple, better known as Wat Chalong, is 6.4 km away and is among the most important temples on Phuket. Phuket International Airport is 35.1 km from the home, and the island is joined to the mainland by a bridge, so the last part of the journey is made by road.

A day can begin with a swim at Nai Harn Beach and continue with a visit to the Big Buddha. Wat Chalong is worth a stop for its temple buildings, and the Phuket Seashell Museum is a quieter option for an afternoon. Kata Beach is a good choice for the evening, with its cafés and bars, before returning to the home. Both sights can be visited on the same day.
