Villa Baan Raurah is in the Patong area, so the beach, the shopping and the town's evening life are close by, while the house has its own garden, balcony or terrace and hot tub. Patong is well known for its nightlife, and its streets fill with food stalls and bars in the evening.

Patong Beach is 1.4 km from the villa, and Karon Beach and Freedom Beach are close by. Jungceylon Shopping Center, 2.3 km away, is one of the town's largest shopping centres, and the Dragon night market, 1.2 km away, is an option for an evening meal. Big Buddha Phuket and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) are the best-known sights on the island and make a full day with the beaches.

Phuket is joined to the mainland by a bridge, so the villa is reached by road from Phuket International Airport, which is 26.5 km away. Krabi International Airport is 80.1 km away. A day could start on Patong Beach, continue to Kata Beach and end with dinner at the Dragon night market.
