Samui Airport is the nearest airport, 13.7 km away, so the island is reached by air, and the sights are then reached by road. Because the attractions are spread across the island, a scooter or car makes a day of sightseeing much easier. A good plan starts with a swim at Natien Beach, continues with the rock formations, and ends with a walk along Lamai Beach. For a morning visit, the Hua Thanon Wet Market is nearby, and the Samui Aquarium and Tiger Zoo makes a short outing before or after the beach.
