Villa Autjima Krabi sits in the Nopparat Thara area of Ao Nang, the beach resort strip on the Krabi coast of southern Thailand. The streets around it run back from the sand toward a lively mix of food stalls, shops and tour offices, so this is a sociable part of the coast, with the beach and the night market both close by. Evenings are busy here, with the night market and its street food close by.

Noppharathara Beach is less than 1 km away, and Ao Nang Beach, the main beach of the resort area, is 1.4 km from the villa. Railay, a peninsula of limestone cliffs, is 4.4 km away and is reached by longtail boat from Ao Nang. The Hong Islands, 39.1 km away, are also reached by boat, while Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 14.8 km away, is a hilltop temple reached by a long staircase.

A good day could start on Noppharathara Beach, continue with a longtail boat trip from Ao Nang to Railay, and end at the Ao Nang Night Market. For a quieter outing on the mainland, Tiger Cave Temple is a rewarding visit, and the Hong Islands make a full day on the water.
