Villa Amethyst

Villa Amethyst is a 100 m² holiday home with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping up to four guests. Air conditioning, a private entrance and a full kitchen come with the home, which also has a TV, a hair dryer, toiletries, linens, a desk and an ironing facility.

The kitchen has cookware, oils and condiments, and the home also includes a coffee or tea maker and a closet. The villa is a self-contained base on Koh Samui, with the beach and the Big Buddha both a short walk away.

Free parking is available on site, and the villa has air conditioning, a TV, a refrigerator, a stove, linens, and dishes and dining utensils for guests. The property also has an iron, a hair dryer, toiletries and a desk with workspace.

The property has a balcony or terrace, and internet access is available. Kitchen basics such as cookware, oils and condiments, along with coffee or tea, are provided for guests who want to cook during their time on Koh Samui.

Villa Amethyst is in Choengmon, a quiet village area of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand, where temples, small houses and fishing piers sit along the coast rather than in large resort strips. Those who want their own kitchen and space, away from a busy seafront, will find the area calm.

The Big Buddha, a large seated statue and one of the island's best-known landmarks, is 600 m from the villa. Wat Plai Laem, a temple known for its large Guanyin statue, is 450 m away, and the Bangrak beach fish market is 300 m. The beach is 390 m from the property, close to the Bangrak Seatran Pier and the ferry terminal at Bangrak Pier. Samui Airport is 2.1 km away, and most sights on the island are reached by road, so a car or scooter makes it easier to move about.

A day here could start at the Big Buddha, continue to Wat Plai Laem, and end with a walk down to the Bangrak beach fish market and the sea. The Samui Elephant Sanctuary in Bophut is a short drive further on, and Fisherman's Village, with its lanes of shops and cafés, is nearby in the same area.
