Victory Place 2 (Golden Mount) Private Accommodation

Guests can choose from a 100 m² three-bedroom house, a 150 m² unit and a 30 m² room, with capacity for five to seven guests. Air conditioning and a private entrance are offered in several of the rooms, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The 100 m² house and the 150 m² unit both sleep up to six guests, the Family Suite holds up to seven and the 30 m² Victory Place room up to five. Rooms may also have a hair dryer, toiletries and complimentary tea, and the rooms offer ironing facilities and a desk. The 30 m² Victory Place room also has its own private bathroom and a shower.

Guests who want to prepare their own meals can use the microwave, the refrigerator and the dishes and dining utensils, and body wash and ceiling or portable fans are also provided. Private check-in and check-out is available, and the property has safety deposit boxes for valuables.

Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in the public areas, and a wired internet connection is also offered. English and Thai are spoken at the property, and the internet connection is available in the public areas as well as in the rooms.

Inside the rooms, the facilities include linens, a hair dryer, toiletries, a closet, a desk, ironing facilities and complimentary tea. Family rooms are also offered for guests travelling with children.

The property is in the old part of Bangkok, an area of temples, old forts and museums close to the Chao Phraya river. Shophouses and temple walls line many of the lanes, and the neighbourhood is easy to explore on foot. The streets around Wat Saket are quieter, and Khaosan Road, the backpacker street 1.5 km away, is close by.

The Golden Mount, a hill with a golden chedi at the top, is 300 m away, and climbing it gives views over the old city. The Grand Palace is 1.9 km away and Wat Arun, on the river, is 2.4 km away, with its tall, tiered spire. Sam Yot MRT Station is 850 m from the property, and Phan Fa Lilat Pier is a short walk away for river boats.

A good day can begin at the Golden Mount and Wat Saket, then continue to the Grand Palace and Wat Arun. In the evening, Khaosan Road offers street food, bars and street performers, and a river boat from Phan Fa Lilat Pier is a good way to return across the water. Sam Yot MRT Station is the nearest rail stop for those heading further into the city, and the lanes near the river are a pleasant place to end the day.
