Velin Khaosan

Velin Khaosan is a single apartment of 57 m² with two bedrooms and one bathroom, let as a whole to one party of up to six guests. The bedding pairs a queen bed with a single bed in a choice of set-ups, so the apartment works for a family or a small group of friends.

Khaosan Road is 600 m from the apartment, and the Grand Palace is 1.8 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) inside the same complex. Wat Arun, with its tall porcelain-covered prang, lies across the river and is reached by ferry. For transport, the Sam Yot MRT station is 1.9 km away, and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) is 20.1 km away, the nearer of Bangkok's two airports.

A day could begin at the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, reached by a river ferry from the Tha Tien pier, and end back on Khaosan Road among its bars and food stalls. The Jim Thompson House, a museum of traditional Thai teak houses, makes a quieter outing in the afternoon. The Bangkok Metropolitan Museum is on the same street as the apartment, so a walk around the neighbourhood can start right at the door.
