Bophut has a village character of its own, and the island's main sights lie along the roads that cross Koh Samui.

Within a few kilometres are Wat Chaweng, a Buddhist pagoda 2.8 km away, and Coral Cove Beach, while the evening walking street has shops and food stalls. The Big Buddha, 7 km away, is one of Koh Samui's best-known landmarks, and Samui Airport, 4.6 km from the hotel, is the nearest airport. Most beaches and villages are reached by road, and a taxi or a rented scooter is the usual way to move around the island.

A good day can start at Chaweng Noi Beach, continue with a visit to the Big Buddha and finish with an evening on the walking street. Chaweng Noi Beach is the closest stretch of sand to the hotel. Fisherman's Village in Bophut is a short trip away, and the island's waterfalls and temples are within a day's drive for a longer outing into the interior.
