V.House Nakhon

The rooms at V.House Nakhon come in several layouts, from a standard room with a queen bed for up to two guests to a triple with a queen bed and a single bed. There is also a standard twin room with space for up to four guests and a room with a double bed.

Some rooms have air conditioning and a private bathroom, and several of the rooms are non-smoking.

Guests can use the 24-hour front desk, luggage storage and car hire, and there is a bar on site. Daily housekeeping, dry cleaning, laundry service and a laundromat are also available, along with a convenience store.

Parking on site is free, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and in the public areas. A vending machine is on site and food delivery is offered, while security is provided around the clock. The convenience store and the laundromat are on hand for everyday needs.

V.House Nakhon stands in the city centre of Nakhon Si Thammarat, a historic provincial capital in southern Thailand known for its temples and for nang talung, the traditional shadow puppet theatre of the south. The streets around the hotel carry everyday city life, with shops, markets and temples close by. It is a working Thai city rather than a beach resort, and everyday needs such as a hospital and cash machines are close at hand.

Wat Hua It, a pagoda 800 m from the hotel, and the City Shrine are the closest landmarks. The Ratchaphruek Night Bazaar Market, 1.3 km away, comes alive in the evening, and the National Museum is 3.8 km away. Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport is 12.1 km from the hotel, and the railway station is 700 m away, so public transport is close.

A good day starts at Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan, one of the most important temples in southern Thailand, and continues with Suchart Subsin's Shadow Puppet Museum, which shows the southern tradition of nang talung. The evening can end at the night bazaar, where the street life makes a good finish to the day, and the walk back to the hotel takes you past the everyday life of the city centre.
