The Asean Night Bazaar Hatyai, 1.9 km away, is one of the lively evening markets in the city, and Wat Hat Yai Nai, 1.7 km away, is a temple with a large reclining Buddha. The Magic Eye 3D Museum and Hat Yai Municipal Park are also in the area, and Hat Yai International Airport is 11.5 km away.

A good day here is to walk between the markets, the temple and the park, then take a taxi or songthaew for the longer trips. Hat Yai Bus Station is also nearby for onward travel, and the railway station is the link for trains to Bangkok and the south. Shops, food stalls and the markets around the hotel keep the streets busy in the evening, so the area suits a walk after dark as well as a daytime visit.
