Urban Calm

Urban Calm offers its accommodation as one home of 48 m², with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, air conditioning and a private entrance. It sleeps up to three guests with a choice of bed set-ups.

Linen and towels are provided, and the bathrooms have a hair dryer and toiletries in select rooms. Television with cable channels and instant coffee are available in some rooms of the home, and the home has its own private entrance.

Urban Calm is on Soi Barbot 2 in Khwaeng Phra Khanong, one of the residential districts off Sukhumvit Road, the long road that runs east from central Bangkok. The side streets here mix apartment blocks, local shops and food stalls, so the area feels more everyday than the big shopping districts further in. It works for anyone who wants a calmer side street with the city's transport close by, and the area is busy on weekdays, with commuters heading to the BTS in the morning and evening. Walking the side streets in the late afternoon is an easy way to see how the neighbourhood lives day to day.

Ekkamai BTS Station is 400 m away, and the Skytrain on the Sukhumvit line runs toward the city centre. Soi 38 Nightmarket, an evening market with street food, is 1.1 km away, and Phra Khanong Market, which sells fresh produce and everyday goods, is 1.2 km away. Reunrudee Palace, a historic palace building, is also close by, as is the Science Centre for Education.
