Further afield, Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 7.1 km away, and the Big Buddha statue on a hilltop lies 8.5 km from the hotel. Karon and Kata beaches lie further along the coast, and Phuket International Airport is 23.1 km away.

A day could start with a swim at Patong Beach, then a visit to Chaithararam Temple and the Big Buddha, two of the island's best-known sights. In the evening, Bangla Road and the night market are close by, and Patong Boxing Stadium holds Muay Thai fights for an evening out. For markets, the night market and Banzaan Fresh Market are both within the town, and restaurants and bars line the streets nearby.
