Further afield, the Big Buddha Phuket sits on a hilltop with wide views over the island, and Chaithararam Temple, better known as Wat Chalong, is one of the island's most important temples.

A day could start at Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, then return to Kamala for the beach and the night market in the evening. Phuket International Airport is 16.7 km away, and the island is linked to the mainland by a bridge, so the hotel is reached by road. Jungceylon Shopping Center is the main shopping centre for a wider choice of shops, and CityCare hospital is close by for medical needs.
