The streets around it mix shophouses, eateries and small shops, and the city serves as a transport hub for travellers heading further south.

Hat Yai Municipal Park is 350 m from the hotel, and the Magic Eye 3D Museum is just as close, with painted illusions to explore. The Asean Night Bazaar Hatyai is 550 m away, a good place to browse and eat after dark. Transport is close too: the Hat Yai Bus Station is 800 m from the hotel, the Hat Yai Railway Station is 2.6 km away, and Hat Yai International Airport is 12.4 km away, all reached by road.

For a day out, the temples are the easiest choice. Wat Hat Yai Nai, a few kilometres further from the hotel, is known for its reclining Buddha, and visitors dress modestly at the temples, as at most Thai religious sites. The Hat Yai Municipal Park offers a quieter break. Guests who spend an evening in the area can finish at the night bazaar, where the food stalls are the main draw.
