Getting around is easiest by car, scooter or taxi, since the beaches, temples and viewpoints are spread across the island. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is Phuket's most important Buddhist temple and is 12.1 km away, and the large seated Big Buddha on Nakkerd Hills is a popular viewpoint nearby. Phuket International Airport is 18.6 km from the villa, so a good first day could be a morning at Wat Chalong followed by an afternoon on the beaches of Kamala or Patong.
