TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao

The villas at TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao include a 100 m² Treehouse Villa with a nature view, a 110 m² villa with a sea view and a 91 m² villa with a pool. Further villas have an ocean view and sleep up to six guests, and the rooms can have a bathtub, a private bathroom and a hair dryer.

Rooms can also have a mini bar, a refrigerator, a balcony or terrace, air conditioning and blackout curtains, and some villas have a private pool or direct pool access. Beds include king beds and a super king bed, and some villas offer a choice of bed set-ups.

The resort has an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, a poolside bar and a restaurant that serves a buffet breakfast, along with room service and a snack bar. The spa offers massage, and there is a sauna and a steam room, as well as a yoga room and a game room.

For sport, there are tennis courts, a badminton court and table tennis, and hiking trails lead through the grounds. Non-motorised water sports include snorkelling, canoeing, diving and fishing, and bicycles can be rented.

Practical services include an airport transfer, a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping, laundry and dry cleaning, luggage storage, currency exchange and a gift and souvenir shop.

Koh Yao Noi is an island in Phang Nga Bay, a quiet place of villages, fishing boats and hills, with the limestone scenery typical of the bay all around. Life here moves at a slower pace than on the larger resort islands, and the roads are quiet. TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao sits close to the island's coast, and Loh Ha Beach is 150 m away.

The island is reached by boat, and Tha Khao Pier, the ferry terminal, is 4.9 km from the resort. Hong Island, 12.1 km away, is known for its lagoon inside steep limestone walls, and James Bond Island, 18.3 km away, is famous for its tall limestone pillar rising from the sea. Na Kun Nang Beach is 2.1 km away, another stretch of sand on the island, and the coast around the resort is the place for a slow morning in the water.

A day could begin with a swim at Loh Ha Beach, then continue with a boat trip to Hong Island and its lagoon. Bicycle rental is available at the resort for exploring the island's roads, and hiking trails lead inland for those who want to walk. In the monsoon months the sea can be rougher, which may affect boat trips to the islands.
