Loh Pared Beach is the nearest beach, and Laem Nok Beach lies a little further along the island's coast. The village of Ban Ta Reua is 800 m away, and Ao Tha Kae is a short distance further on; both are small villages where everyday island life is easy to see. Wat Chalong, the most revered temple on Phuket, is reached by crossing back to the main island, and Phuket International Airport is 33.5 km away.

A day here works best around the island, walking the beaches, visiting the villages or taking a boat trip along the coast. Back at the property, the garden and the terrace offer a place to sit after a day on the water. Day trips to Phuket take a boat crossing each way, and rough sea can affect boat crossings at certain times of year, so allow for that when you plan.
