Tonnum Resort

Every room at Tonnum Resort has a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, satellite or cable channels and air conditioning, and free WiFi is available in all rooms. Two of the rooms look out over the river and one faces the garden.

The Bungalow and the Quadruple Room both have a river view, a private entrance and soundproofing. The Family Room (8 Adults) measures 25 m² and has a garden view, along with a coffee or tea maker and free bottled water. Guests who want a river view can book either of the first two rooms.

Free parking is available at the resort, and free WiFi is available in all rooms, with WiFi also in the public areas. The grounds include a garden, and air conditioning is provided in the public areas as well as in the rooms.

Guests can go fishing, sing karaoke and take part in the on-site entertainment. There is a shared lounge and TV area, and a Xerox and fax service is available in the business centre.

Tonnum Resort sits on Leamyai Road in Mea Kong, in Samut Songkhram province in central Thailand, southwest of Bangkok. Samut Songkhram is one of the smaller provinces in the country, and the Mae Klong river flows through it to the Gulf of Thailand. The surroundings are a mix of towns, temples and local markets, with a calmer pace than in the capital.

Within a short distance you can reach the Maeklong Railway Market, 2.6 km away, where the market stalls are set up along the railway tracks and trains pass between them. Wat Sattha Tham, a pagoda, is 1.6 km away, and St. Jacob church lies close to the resort. King Bhumibol Adulyadej Park lies 3.1 km from the resort, a green space named after the late king.

A day out could combine the railway market with the Amphawa Floating Market, 5.1 km away, and King Rama II Memorial Park, 5.3 km from the resort. Amphawa is known for its canal-side houses and food stalls along the water, so a visit mixes the market with a stroll along the canals. The sights are spread across several kilometres of the province, so the route between them runs along the local roads.
