Tiki Hostel

The accommodation is in dormitory rooms, where each guest has a bed rather than a private room. All the rooms have air conditioning and a city view, and the bathroom is shared. Reading lights, blackout curtains, linens, a socket near the bed, a wake-up service, an electric kettle and a coffee or tea maker are also in the rooms.

The dormitory rooms measure from 32 to 320 m². An eight-bed mixed dormitory of 320 m² has bunk beds, an eight-bed dormitory of 280 m² has single beds, and a four-bed dormitory of 32 m² has bunk beds. Each bed is for one guest.

Guests can eat on site, at a restaurant, a coffee shop or a snack bar, and there is also a breakfast takeaway service. A convenience store is on site, and a shuttle service, car hire and ticket services are available. Guests who want to plan their days can arrange these services at the hostel.

For laundry and everyday tasks, the hostel offers laundry service, dry cleaning, ironing service, daily housekeeping, luggage storage and lockers. The shared lounge and TV area, on-site entertainment, a salon and a terrace give guests places to relax between trips, and there is 24-hour security. Guests can use the shared lounge and TV area to meet fellow travellers.

Tiki Hostel is in Haad Rin, the village at the southern tip of Ko Pha-ngan that is known for the Full Moon Party. The area is lively, with beach bars, dive schools and small shops, and the beach is close to the hostel. Nightlife runs late, so the streets can be noisy after dark.

Haad Rin Nok beach is 400 m away, and the Haad Rin Viewpoint is 650 m away, a short climb above the village. The Haad Rin Queen ferry terminal is 250 m from the hostel, and Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, a quieter bay, is 10.4 km away. Samui Airport on Ko Samui is 14.1 km away, and the last part of the journey to Ko Pha-ngan is by boat, so the ferry terminal matters for arrivals.

A good day starts with a swim at Haad Rin Nok beach, followed by the viewpoint later on, and the village's bars and restaurants fill the evening. If you want a quieter day, Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach makes a good trip from Haad Rin, and the bay is known for its calm water and smaller resorts. Back in Haad Rin, the Full Moon Party is the village's best-known night out, so plan your evening around it if your dates fall near a full moon.
