Tiger Homestay

Every room at Tiger Homestay has air conditioning and a kitchenette. The rooms measure between 18 and 25 m² and have either two single beds or a queen bed, depending on the room. Most rooms share a bathroom, while one has a private bathroom with a shower. Both the single-bed and the queen-bed rooms sleep up to two guests.

Each room sleeps up to two guests and comes with toiletries, towels and linens, an electric kettle, a dining table and free bottled water. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, and most rooms also have a refrigerator. Every room has a hair dryer as well.

The homestay is managed by a private host and has a garden and free parking, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Private check-in and check-out are offered, along with express check-in and check-out and luggage storage.

Languages spoken include English, Chinese (Mandarin), Malay and Thai. Food delivery is also offered, and there is internet access as well as WiFi in public areas. Air conditioning and heating are provided in public areas too.

The rooms can have a washing machine and clothes dryer, a desk, a seating area and a separate dining area, and some have a balcony or terrace. Hair dryers, toiletries and towels are also among the rooms' facilities.

Tiger Homestay is on Sukhumvit 15, a side lane off Sukhumvit Road in the Sukhumvit district of Bangkok. Sukhumvit is one of the city's busiest districts, with shopping centres, restaurants and hotels along the main road, and street-food stalls line many of the side lanes in the evening. The BTS skytrain runs above Sukhumvit Road, the main road close to the lane.

The Phetchaburi MRT station is 500 m away, and Makkasan station on the Airport Rail Link is 550 m away; that line runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport, 21.6 km from the homestay, while Don Mueang International Airport is 19.2 km away. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre in the Siam area, is 2.6 km away, so the rest of the city is easy to reach by metro.

A good day could start at the Grand Palace in the old city, then cross the Chao Phraya river to Wat Arun, which stands on the far bank. The river itself passes the temples of the old city, so boat rides along it are a good way to see them. Jim Thompson House, a museum of Thai silk set in old teak houses, is a good stop on the way back, and the homestay's garden is a place to return to after a day out.
