The Big Buddha, a large statue on the island, is 6.9 km away, and Fisherman's Village in Bophut, with its shops and cafés along a walking street, is 4 km away. Taxi and car hire services are provided by the guesthouse for trips further afield.

A good day could start with a walk along the beach and a stop at the morning market, then continue to the Big Buddha in the afternoon. Fisherman's Village is a good choice for the evening, with its walking street and shops, and the Maenam Walking Street is close by for a stroll afterwards.
