The Zense Boutique Hotel

A calmer base can still be close to the old temples and the Night Bazaar, both within a few kilometres.

Wat Chulamani, an old temple with ancient ruins, is 2.6 km away, and the Phitsanulok Night Bazaar, 3.8 km away, is the place to go in the evening for street food and local shopping. Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, known as Wat Yai, houses one of the most revered Buddha images in Thailand, and the Sgt. Maj. Thawee Folk Museum is also nearby. The Phitsanulok Railway Station is 4.2 km from the hotel, and Phitsanulok Airport (PHS) is 7.2 km away.

A good day could begin at Wat Chulamani and Wat Yai, then move on to the Night Bazaar in the evening, and the Phitsanulok Railway Station is a practical stop for onward trains. Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a day trip from Phitsanulok for travellers who want to see more of the region's ancient history.
