The Wide View Resort and Restaurant has an outdoor swimming pool, a bar and a coffee shop, along with a kitchen, BBQ facilities and a BBQ grill. Free parking is available, and the property offers a laundromat, daily housekeeping and meeting or banquet facilities.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is WiFi in the public areas too. Pets are allowed, and charges apply. The property also has a balcony or terrace, a stove and a refrigerator, and dishes and dining utensils.

Children aged 2 to 12 can stay free of charge using existing bedding, and so can infants aged 0 to 1. Extra beds can be requested from the property, with additional charges possible, and a baby cot or crib may be requested, subject to availability.

The property is in Bang Thao, in the Thalang District of Phuket, an area with a long sandy beach and a mix of resorts and villas. Phuket's main beach areas and the airport are a drive away, so a car is useful for getting further afield. For everyday shopping, the Thalang Fresh Market and a Makro supermarket are nearby.

The closest beach is Bang Tao Beach, 3.9 km away, and Wat Thep Krasattri, a temple, is 250 m from the property. Other nearby sights include the Peranakan Phuket Museum, which tells the story of the island's Peranakan community, and the Thalang Victory Monument. Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with an evening show, is a drive away, while Phuket International Airport is 10.8 km away and Patong Beach, one of the island's best-known beach areas, is 12.4 km away.

A full day could begin on Bang Tao Beach, continue with the Peranakan Phuket Museum and the Thalang Victory Monument, and end at Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples, or at the large hilltop Big Buddha, which is farther away. After a day out, the restaurant and bar on site are an easy option for an evening meal, and the BBQ facilities are available too.
