The Wave Haad Rin

Every room at The Wave Haad Rin has air conditioning, and both accommodations have a private bathroom. The rooms go from a bungalow with a single bed and a queen bed to a six-bed mixed dormitory with bunk beds.

The bungalow measures 16 m² and sleeps up to three guests, while the dormitory sleeps up to six. Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, so guests can get online from their room without a separate charge.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is also Wi-Fi in the public areas, so the connection works in the common spaces as well as in the bedrooms. The property has a bar on site, and the nightclub is on the same premises, with a dance floor and a sound system.

The public area is air-conditioned, as are the rooms, and each room has a private bathroom with a shower. English and Thai are spoken at the property, and non-smoking rooms are part of what the hostel offers.

Haad Rin is a small beach village on Ko Pha-ngan, known for its bars, its clubs and the Full Moon Party, which is held on its beach each month. The Wave Haad Rin is in the village itself, with the beach 100 m away and bars and shops close by. The village is most lively in the evening, and the hostel's own nightclub is one of the places where the night carries on, while the beach itself is a short walk away for the daytime.

The Haad Rin Viewpoint is 600 m away, and the Luang Pu Thuat Shrine, honouring a respected Buddhist monk, is 400 m away, so both are easy to visit between a morning on the sand and the evening in the village. Haad Rin Nok beach is on the same shoreline. Reaching the island is a boat journey, since the nearest airport, Samui Airport, is on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui, 14.1 km away, and the ferry terminal is 450 m from the hotel.

For a quieter beach, Thong Nai Pan Yai is further around the island, and a day there makes a change from the bars and clubs of the village, which are at their busiest after dark. Ko Pha-ngan has several beaches with different characters, so a day trip around the island shows more than the village. Back at the hostel, the bar and nightclub are on site for the evening.
