Lompraya Pier and a boat charter service sit close by for trips out on the water, For a half-day outing, the Big Buddha and the Samui Elephant Sanctuary are both reached by road from Bo Phut. The lanes are a good place for a relaxed evening walk, and food stalls line the nearby streets.
