The Urban Oasis

The rooms at The Urban Oasis measure between 25 and 28 m² and are set up with a king bed, a queen bed or two single beds. Some rooms have a street view, and in some rooms air conditioning and blackout curtains are fitted. Rooms can also have a refrigerator, a desk and free bottled water.

Ratchayothin BTS station is 250 m away and Sena Nikhom BTS station is 600 m away, so the Skytrain is the most direct link to the rest of the city. Bang Khen Market, 400 m away, is a local market for everyday shopping. Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest markets in Bangkok, is 4.3 km away and sells clothing, crafts and souvenirs, especially at weekends. Don Mueang airport is the closer of the city's two airports.

A day could start at Chatuchak Weekend Market, then continue by Skytrain toward the centre for Jim Thompson House, a museum of Thai silk in a traditional house. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, a temple on the Chao Phraya river, are the other classic stops on a Bangkok sightseeing day, and both are a taxi ride from the centre. The Jim Thompson House and the riverside temples are both in the older centre of the city, so they can be visited in the same trip.
