The Turtle Hut Resort

Every room at The Turtle Hut Resort has air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The rooms measure between 63 and 105 m² and sleep up to three guests, in a mountain setting where most of the views look out over the hills and the valleys below, and the stay is quiet.

Accommodation includes a 70 m² Suite and three villas: the 78 m² Family Villa, the 105 m² Pool Villa and the 63 m² Tao Villa. The three villas have mountain views, and each one has its own bathroom with a shower. Guests can also use the resort's garden and outdoor swimming pool.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a garden and a playground, along with a shared lounge and TV area. Guests can eat at the restaurants or use the BBQ facilities, and there are satellite and cable channels in the rooms.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is also Wi-Fi in the public areas. On-site parking is available. The resort also has a family room, and rooms can have a refrigerator, a hair dryer and free bottled water.

The Turtle Hut Resort is in Thung Samo, a village in the Khao Kho district of Phetchabun province, in the mountains of central Thailand. The landscape is one of green slopes, scattered hamlets and campsites, and it is a quiet setting, away from the busy towns of the plains.

Close by is the Khaokho Boutique Camp, a campsite 1.5 km away, and the Khao Kho Wind Farm, 5.4 km from the resort, where the turbines stand on the mountain ridges. The temple of Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew, 7.6 km away, is set high in the hills, and the Buddhist temple of Wat Pa Khasamakhi is 5.8 km away.

A good day out starts in the resort garden and continues to the wind farm and to the temple of Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew, both reached by road. Back at the resort, the restaurants and BBQ facilities are on site for dinner, and the garden is a quiet place to finish the day after the drive.
