Chatuchak Weekend Market, 2.4 km away, is one of the largest weekend markets in Bangkok, with thousands of stalls selling clothing, food, plants and crafts. Closer to the hotel, the Suan Lum Night Bazaar is an open-air evening market with food stalls and shops. The Grand Palace, 10.6 km away on the other side of the Chao Phraya river, is the centre of the old Rattanakosin district, and Wat Arun stands on the same riverbank.

A full day could begin at Chatuchak Weekend Market, then return by metro to the hotel area for an evening at the Suan Lum Night Bazaar.
