Samui Airport is 1.7 km away, so the journey from the airport is brief. A day out can take in the Big Buddha, a large statue on a hill near Bophut, 4.2 km away, and the Na Muang Waterfall, 10.9 km away. The Wat Plai Laem temple, known for its large statue of the goddess Guanyin, is another stop for a day's sightseeing.

A good day could start with a swim at the private beach, followed by a trip to the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rock formations near Lamai Beach.
