The State Apartment

Each room at The State Apartment has air conditioning. The double room sleeps up to two guests in a double bed, and the Apartment, which measures 20 m², has a queen bed for up to two guests and a city view.

The Apartment has its own private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, plus a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels and a coffee and tea maker. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and linens are provided.

The Bang Son MRT station is 900 m away, linking the apartment to the wider metro network, so the rest of the city can be reached by train.

The Chatuchak Weekend Market is 3.6 km away and is one of the largest markets in Bangkok, with vintage clothing, handcrafted jewellery, plants and street food spread across dozens of sections. Wat Pracha Sattha Tham, a temple with a pagoda, is 650 m away, and the Wat Soi Thong ferry pier on the Chao Phraya is 1.2 km away. For the sights of the old city, the Grand Palace is 8.6 km away.

A good day here starts early at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is busiest at weekends, and can continue with a visit to the Royal Thai Army Ordnance Museum or a walk through the Bangson Market. In the evening the streets around the MRT station are lively with street food stalls and small shops.
