The Spa Resorts - Lamai Village

Every room at The Spa Resorts - Lamai Village has a garden view. The rooms run from 28 m² for up to two guests to 82 m² suites with space for up to eight, and several of them have air conditioning, a balcony or terrace and a private bathroom.

The Double Room with Garden View sleeps two, the Deluxe Villa has a king bed and a balcony, and the 2 Bedroom Suite sleeps four guests. The Shangri-La Suite sleeps up to eight, and the Shangri la Suite sleeps up to five, so the hotel can accommodate couples as well as larger parties.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool. Guests can use a fitness centre, a spa with massage, body scrub and body wrap treatments, a foot bath and a steamroom, plus a sauna and a yoga room. A salon, a garden and a terrace are also on site.

Lamai is a beach village on Koh Samui, where a sandy bay runs alongside a road lined with a night market and bars. The hotel sits in the middle of this mix of beach and village life, with the sand and the temples nearby. Lamai Beach is 1.6 km away, so the sea is easy to reach for a swim or an afternoon on the sand, and the bay is the setting for much of the village's daily life.

Wat Lamai, a temple with a pagoda, is 1.2 km away, and the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks, known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, lie 2.2 km off. Na Muang Waterfall, one of the best-known falls on the island, is 4.7 km away. Samui Airport, on the island itself, is 9.3 km from the hotel, so arriving by air keeps the last stretch on Koh Samui.

A day could start with the rock formations at Hin Ta and Hin Yai, continue with time on Lamai Beach, and end with dinner at the night market. The Big Buddha and Fisherman's Village in Bophut make a separate trip further along the coast, and the island's temples and waterfalls are worth seeing in a day of their own.
