The hotel sits about 450 m from Tha Kai village, the nearest settlement on foot. Life here is gentle and unhurried, the villages are small, and the sea is never far away from any part of the island.

Within a short ride you can reach Tha Kai Pier, the ferry terminal 1 km away, and the Coconut Local Farm, an attraction 1.8 km away. Thakow Waterfall lies 3.5 km away, and Laem Had Beach is 5.5 km away. The Sor Ngam beach viewpoint is also on the island, looking out over the water, and the island's sights are spread out, so the bicycles and taxi service offered at the hotel are useful.

A good day could start with a bicycle ride to the coconut farm, then continue to Thakow Waterfall or to Laem Had Beach. Bicycles and bicycle rental are available at the hotel. After a day out, the hotel's garden is a place to rest before the evening. In the rainy months the sea can be rougher, which may affect the ferry crossing to and from the island.
