Every apartment at The Serene House Bangkok has river views and air conditioning. Nearby, Wat Phra Chetuphon is home to a famous reclining Buddha, and Wat Arun stands on the far bank of the river. The nearest train station, Urupong Station, is 1.1 km from the property, and Don Mueang International Airport is 19.7 km away.

A good day starts at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which share one walled complex, followed by Wat Phra Chetuphon nearby. In the evening, the Khaosan area is lively, and the riverside piers are a short walk for a river boat ride. Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest markets in the city, is further out and is best kept for a separate day.
