The Sense

The rooms at The Sense measure between 18 and 30 m². Rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and a flat-screen TV, and in some rooms there is a bathtub, a desk, or a balcony or terrace.

Some rooms have blackout curtains and linen service, and a refrigerator, bottled water and instant coffee are available in some select rooms. Toiletries, towels and a hair dryer are provided in some of the bathrooms, and rooms can have an electric kettle as well. Linens and a flat-screen TV are found in several rooms, and the rooms can also have an in-room safe box.

The 24-hour front desk handles luggage storage and safety deposit boxes, and daily housekeeping and a laundry service are also offered. English, Burmese and Thai are spoken at the hotel. The hotel is a 2-star property with a 24-hour front desk.

Tours, taxi service and ticket services are offered. The ticket service can help with bookings for entertainment and local attractions, and the hotel also has room service and bottled water, plus a terrace and family rooms.

Patong is one of Phuket's busiest resort areas, a long sandy bay with a lively mix of hotels, shops and night-time streets. The Sense sits on Phrabaramee Road within the resort area, with the beach and the nightlife both nearby, so guests can walk out to the sand or head into the streets in the evening, and the resort's shops and night-time streets are close at hand.

Patong Beach is 850 m away, and Bangla Road, the street of bars and nightlife, is 1.5 km from the hotel. Jungceylon Shopping Center is also a short distance away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of Phuket's most important temples, is 7.3 km away. Big Buddha Phuket, the seated statue on its hilltop, is 8.6 km from the hotel, and Phuket International Airport is 23 km away, with taxi service offered at the hotel.

One day could start on the sand at Patong Beach, continue at Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), and end on Bangla Road after dark. Karon Beach and Kata Beach are other sandy beaches on the island, each a drive away, for a quieter afternoon by the sea. Big Buddha Phuket can be added to the same day, since it sits on a hilltop above the island.
