The Sealect

The Sealect is on Kata Road, a short walk from the sand, and the Kata Walking Street Night Market is 50 m away. The bay is generally quieter than Patong, the island's best-known resort, and the beach is within walking distance of the hotel.

Kata Beach and the neighbouring Karon Beach are both close by, and Kata Noi, a smaller and quieter beach next to Kata, is a short distance further. Phuket Big Buddha, a large white statue on a hilltop, is 1.8 km from the hotel and is one of the island's landmarks. Patong Beach is 6.9 km away by road, and Phuket International Airport lies 31.9 km away from the hotel.

A good day could start at Wat Chalong, one of Phuket's best-known temples, then continue to the Big Buddha on the hill. In the evening you can walk to the Kata night market for street food and shopping. Scuba diving and surfing are nearby, so a morning on the water is an option. For the evening, Patong's nightlife on Bangla Road is the other choice.
