The Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa

The rooms at The Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa include deluxe rooms of 30 m² with a city view or a partial sea view, a 46 m² room with a pool view and a 46 m² room with a mountain view. Suites include a 152 m² suite with a pool view for up to four guests, and an 86 m² suite with a sea view that also sleeps four.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a mini bar, a refrigerator, an electric kettle and an in-room safe, and bathrooms can have a bathtub, a shower, a hair dryer and toiletries. Bed set-ups vary by room, and some rooms sleep up to four guests.

Guests can use free WiFi in all rooms, and the front desk is open 24 hours a day. There is a concierge, luggage storage, lockers and currency exchange, and room service is available around the clock.

For relaxation, the hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a fitness center, a spa with massage, body scrub and body wrap treatments, a hot tub, a sauna, a steam room and a garden. A kids club and family rooms are also available.

Patong is Phuket's best-known beach town, a lively place where the sand, the night streets and the shopping centres sit close together. Street-food stalls and massage shops line the roads around the hotel, and beach days, street food and late evenings are what the area is known for. The beach runs along the bay, and the streets behind it hold restaurants, bars and nightlife, all close enough to walk to from the hotel.

Patong Beach is 500 m away, and Bangla Road, the street known for its nightlife, is 400 m from the hotel. Jungceylon Shopping Center is also close, and Kalim Beach, a smaller beach just beyond Patong, lies 1.8 km away. Further afield, Wat Chalong, one of Phuket's most important temples, is 6.6 km away, and the Big Buddha, a large statue on a hilltop, is 7.6 km away.

A full day could start at Wat Chalong, continue with a visit to the Big Buddha, and finish with a swim at Karon or Kata beach, both reached by road from Patong. Back in Patong, the street stalls and the Phuket FantaSea cultural show offer more ideas for the evening, and a walk along the beach road is a simple way to end the day.
