The Ring Residence

Rooms at The Ring Residence come with king beds or pairs of single beds, and several of them have views over the city. Some rooms measure 35 m² and others 26 m², and a few are set up for up to five guests.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and a hair dryer, and some have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV or a mobile hotspot device. Rooms can also have a balcony or terrace, a full kitchen, a microwave and a refrigerator.

Hat Yai North is the northern part of Hat Yai, one of the largest cities in southern Thailand and a busy commercial hub in Songkhla province, not far from the Malaysian border. Its streets mix shophouses, markets and temples, so the area feels urban and lively, suited to travellers who want a working city rather than a beach resort. Visitors come here to eat, shop and see the city's many markets.

Wat Hat Yai Nai, a temple 1.4 km from the hotel, is known for its large reclining Buddha, and Kim Yong Market, 1.9 km away, is one of the best-known places in town for fresh food and everyday shopping. Hat Yai Railway Station is 2 km off, and Hat Yai International Airport is 11.1 km away, so the hotel works for both rail and air arrivals. The Asean Night Bazaar, a lively evening market, and the Magic Eye 3D Museum are a little further out.

A good day can start at the morning markets, continue to the temples and to Hat Yai Municipal Park, which is 4.8 km from the hotel, and end at the Asean Night Bazaar when the food stalls open after dark. Hat Yai is also a practical place to change trains and buses, so the area is well served by public transport.
