The Regent Pool Villa Kamala

The Regent Pool Villa Kamala is built around private pool villas with two or three bedrooms, and capacities run from three to nine guests. A suite for up to nine guests is also part of the accommodation, and some of the villas have a pool view.

Villas with a private bathroom have a bathtub, bathrobes and a hair dryer, and rooms can include a full kitchen, a kitchenette, a balcony or terrace, and outdoor furniture. In several villas the beds can be set up in a choice of bed set-ups, so the arrangement depends on the villa you book.

Kamala is a beach area in the Kathu district of Phuket, with small restaurants and shops along the roads that lead down to the sand. The hotel sits a little back from the bustle of the main beach strip, so the setting is calmer than the nightlife of Patong. A stay here is as much about the villa and its pool as about the sea.

The beach is 610 m away, and the Kamala Night Market, 750 m from the hotel, is a short walk for an evening meal. Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with evening shows, is 1 km away, while Patong Beach, 4.7 km off, has the island's livelier nightlife and water sports. A clinic and a cash machine are a few hundred metres away, so everyday errands are close by.

For a day out, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), 12.5 km away, is one of the most revered Buddhist temples on the island. Big Buddha Phuket, a large white statue on a hilltop, and Karon Beach are also worth a visit. Phuket International Airport is reached by road, and a taxi or hired car makes day trips to Patong, Karon and the temples simpler for guests who want to see more of the island.
