The rooms at The Quarter Saladaeng by UHG include one-bedroom suites, a standard double room, a deluxe twin and a 100 m² family suite sleeping up to five guests. The Sala Daeng BTS station, 550 m away, is on the Silom line, which connects at Siam with the Sukhumvit line, and Si Lom MRT station, 450 m away, is on the metro. Both airports lie a long way out of the centre, so the airport transfer is the simplest option for arrival. The Patpong Museum and Klang Soi Market are a short distance off, and Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American silk entrepreneur who made Thai silk famous abroad, is also a short taxi ride away.

A good day could start at the Grand Palace, 5.8 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, then continue across the river to Wat Arun. Back on the east side of the city, Siam Paragon makes a useful end to the day, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 8.3 km from the hotel, is worth a trip for those who want a larger market.
