The Publyc Hotel

The Publyc Hotel offers rooms from 22 to 37 m², with room sizes and capacities that run from two guests to five. Double and twin rooms sit alongside triple and family rooms, and several of them look out over the city.

Several rooms have air conditioning, a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV, and several also provide towels and linens. Some rooms have a desk, blackout curtains or a refrigerator. Video streaming services such as Netflix are available on the televisions in several rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the family rooms can sleep four or five guests.

The hotel has an elevator, luggage storage, daily housekeeping, shops and a shared lounge and TV area, and the front desk is open 24 hours. Restaurants are on site, and bottled water and a vending machine are available.

Free parking is available for guests who drive, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in the public areas. Air conditioning is provided in the public areas as well, and luggage storage is available for guests who need to keep their bags.

The hotel is wheelchair accessible and has facilities for disabled guests, and English and Thai are spoken at the hotel. The Publyc Hotel also has family rooms and a shared lounge with a large-screen TV for guests.

The Publyc Hotel is on Bangna-Trad in the Bang Na district of eastern Bangkok, a neighbourhood of residential streets and schools rather than the temples and river of the old city. The BITEC exhibition centre, with its trade fairs and conventions, is close to the hotel, and the Sukhumvit line skytrain links the area with the rest of the city. Bangna-Trad is one of the main roads heading east out of Bangkok, so the hotel sits on a route that many people use to leave the city.

Wat Sri Iam Temple is close by, and Wat Bang Na Nai, a temple with a pagoda, is in the same area. Udom Suk and Bang Na BTS stations are 1.1 km and 1.2 km from the hotel, and Khun-Yim Market, a local market, is 950 m away. Phuti Anun Park, a green space in the neighbourhood, is also nearby, and the area has schools and exhibition halls that give it a different character from the old city.

A day in the city can start with the skytrain towards Siam, where Siam Paragon is 12 km from the hotel, and continue to the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, two of the best-known sights of the old city. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is a separate outing across the city and is open at weekends, so it is best planned as a day of its own.
