The Proud Rawai

The Proud Rawai is let as a whole apartment of 39 m², with a private bathroom and space for up to four guests. Air conditioning, a full kitchen, a TV, a coffee and tea maker, linens and toiletries are part of the apartment.

Rawai is a fishing village at the southern end of Phuket, with a more local feel than the busy beaches of the west coast. The Proud Rawai is a few hundred metres from Rawai Beach, and the pier and the fish market are only a little further along the road. The sea and the working harbour are close at hand, and the resort strips of Patong lie on the other side of the island, a longer drive away.

Rawai Pier, the ferry terminal, is 1.1 km away and is the starting point for boats to the islands offshore. Nai Harn Beach, a calmer bay with a lake behind it, is 1.3 km away. Big Buddha, the large white statue on a hill, is 6.2 km away, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 8.5 km away and is one of the most important temples on Phuket.

A day could start with a swim at Rawai Beach, continue at the fish market and Nai Harn Beach in the afternoon, and end with the temples and the Big Buddha. Phuket International Airport is 37.7 km away, and free parking is available at the property for guests who arrive by car, so the sights further away are easy to reach by road.
