The Present Sathorn

The Present Sathorn offers studios as well as one- and two-bedroom suites, and the rooms sleep between two and six guests. City views come with several of the rooms, and one two-bedroom suite overlooks the garden. The Saint Louis BTS station is 850 m away, and the Skytrain on the Silom line links the area with the rest of the city. The Grand Palace, the historic royal complex in old Bangkok, is 5.8 km from the hotel, and Wat Phra Chetuphon, also known as Wat Pho, sits close to it. Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the city's largest markets, is 9.4 km away.

For flights, Suvarnabhumi Airport is 23.7 km away. A day in the old city could start at the Grand Palace and continue to Wat Arun across the Chao Phraya river, while Chatuchak is best saved for the weekend. Sathon Pier, 2.2 km away, gives access to the Chao Phraya river boats, which run along the river through central Bangkok and make a useful way to see the riverside temples and the old town from the water, as the Grand Palace area is close to the river.
