The pool intouch villa

The villa is offered as a single private house of 100 m², with its own pool, a full kitchen, air conditioning and a private entrance. Guests have the whole house to themselves, and the garden and the balcony or terrace are part of the grounds.

The kitchen comes with dishes and dining utensils, a microwave and a refrigerator, and a barbecue grill and coffee or tea facilities are also available. The villa sleeps up to four guests, and the bathroom comes with body wash, toiletries and a hair dryer.

Klong Muang is a quiet stretch of coast in Krabi province, on Thailand's Andaman side, and it is calmer than Ao Nang, the busier resort strip 6.5 km away. The beach is 510 m from the villa, so the sea is close to the pool and the garden. The pace is slower than on the main strip, and the sand and the sea are the main attraction of the area, which suits a relaxed stay.

Around the villa, the local life is simple: a Muay Thai camp, a market held on Sundays and Tuesdays, and quiet roads through the village. Further afield, Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple complex, is 19.8 km away, and Railay Beach, known for its limestone cliffs, is 9.3 km away. The villa's private pool gives you somewhere to return to in the afternoon between outings.

Day trips are the main draw. The Hong Islands are reached by boat, and Krabi International Airport (KBV) is 24.8 km away for travellers flying in. Boat trips to the islands can be cancelled in rough weather, so keep a spare day in the plan. The Krabi Elephant Shelter and the Pha Nam Yod waterfall make good options for a day out inland, and the area offers a mix of beach days and excursions.
