The Pixel Places

The rooms at The Pixel Places measure between 20 and 27 m², and each one sleeps up to three guests. The choice includes a Standard Room with a private bathroom and a bathtub, a Studio Apartment with a balcony or terrace, and a Deluxe room with a city view and a choice of bed set-ups.

Air conditioning is in the Standard Room and the Deluxe room, and the Studio Apartment and the Deluxe both have a city view. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and shared spaces include a garden and a kitchen. The front desk is open 24 hours.

The Pixel Places stands in Bang Krasor, a district of Nonthaburi province just north of Bangkok, on Soi Rattanathibet. The streets around it are mostly local, with shops, markets and the Chao Phraya river a few kilometres away, and the pace feels calmer than in central Bangkok. Central Bangkok is a longer trip, and most of its sights are reached by road or along the river, so a day in the capital is best planned around the metro and the river.

The Bang Krasor MRT station is 300 m from the property, and the temple pagoda Wat Samon Kot is in the same local area. A riverside park, Nonthaburi Pier Urban Waterfront, is 2.8 km away, a pleasant place to walk along the water. Central Bangkok is further: Khaosan Road is 11.5 km away and the Grand Palace is 12.6 km away, so a visit to the old city is best planned as a full day out.

A day could begin at Nonthaburi Market and the Museum of Nonthaburi, then head south into Bangkok to see Wat Arun, the Grand Palace or the Chatuchak Weekend Market. The return to Nonthaburi can be made in the evening, after a day among the temples and the riverside streets of the capital.
