The Pine Resort

The Pine Resort has rooms from the Delux Room and the Exec Suite, which take two guests, up to the Superior Room, which takes four. The Villa Room also sleeps up to four guests, and the Exec Deluxe is set up for two.

The main rooms have air conditioning, and several of them also have a refrigerator, a sofa and free bottled water.

Guests can use an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool and a playground, along with a fitness centre, a tennis court, a badminton court and a table tennis area. A karaoke room and a garden are also on site.

A coffee shop, restaurants, room service and Asian and buffet breakfasts are available, and there is a convenience store, a gift and souvenir shop and a concierge desk. Laundry service, dry cleaning and ironing, daily housekeeping, luggage storage and lockers are offered as well.

Free parking is on site, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Car hire, a taxi service and bicycle rental are also available at the resort, and there is 24-hour security.

The Pine Resort is in Sam Khok, a district of Pathum Thani province north of Bangkok, where villages and farmland give the area a rural feel. The setting is green and low-key, with village houses, temples and open land, and the resort keeps its pool and courts on site.

The closest village, Ban Thong Wang, is 700 m away, and Wat Bot (Sam Khok), a temple with a pagoda, lies 3.8 km off. The Sinpachip Saturday Market is 3.7 km away, the Arts and Crafts Village museum 4.2 km, and the Wang Pla aquarium is further on, with the Rachakram Golf Club 6.3 km away. The area's temples and markets are a practical way to see local life outside the resort.

A day could start with a walk through the village lanes, then move on to Wat Bot and the Arts and Crafts Village, and end at the Wang Pla aquarium. Free parking is available on site, and car hire and a taxi service are offered at the resort for trips further afield.
